Cool stack. Now I'm curious about the handoffs. What happens between the tools is usually where quality diverges. Would love to see you break that part down.
The tool stack fatigue is real. I've been trying to minimize mine down to Claude Code for basically everything, then add specialized tools only when it breaks.
The main finding: they excel at different tasks and the overlap is smaller than the marketing suggests. For copywriting and strategy work, Claude Code's context persistence via CLAUDE.md files changes the workflow completely. Worth testing if you haven't.
Very nice stack, Wilbert! And an informative read! I use Chat gpt, ghostbase, substackulous and adobe firefly
Thank you. Two new tools I haven’t heard about and will try them :) And you should surely try Claude!

Yes, that would be an excellent one. Linking it to workflows. Thanks & will write about it :)

Ran a proper comparison between Claude Code and Codex after two months of daily use since everyone keeps asking which one: https://thoughts.jock.pl/p/claude-code-vs-codex-real-comparison-2026
